Description
The Castle was built by Francisco Piria when he married a second time to Mary Emilia Yugoslav Franz.
In 1980 it was acquired by the Municipality of Maldonado, restored and converted into a museum. Thanks to this, it is possible to visit the castle and has managed to rescue a fundamental part of the history of the area.
