Turf llega a la Plaza de Toros de Colonia: una noche de clásicos y nuevas versiones

The Tanda concert series returns to the Plaza de Toros de Colonia del Sacramento —the historic bullring of the Real de San Carlos complex, now transformed into an event space— with one of the most anticipated shows of the year. On August 22nd at 9:00 PM, Turf takes the stage under a closed tent setup, combining live music with the one-of-a-kind atmosphere of one of the department's most iconic venues.

With over two decades of history, Turf is one of the bands that defined Argentine rock in the 90s and 2000s through its blend of humor, irony, pop and guitars. Their songs are still heard on radio stations and playlists across the region, and the band holds a very strong connection with Uruguayan audiences.

Polvo de Estrellas: the album that reinvents them

The Colonia show comes at a special moment for the band: the release of Polvo de Estrellas (Stardust), their most recent album, which revisits their greatest hits through collaborations with artists from different generations and styles.

The album features contributions from Lali, Milo J, Miranda!, Conociendo Rusia, Santiago Motorizado, Fito Páez, Vicentico, Luck Ra, La Delio Valdez and Yami Safdie, among others. The result is a journey from classic rock to trap and contemporary pop, showing that Turf's music speaks as much to those who discovered them in the 90s as to those who found them more recently.
